Regardless of whether we know it or not, we are always bonded with law of contract. But before we go into details, there are two things that I've learnt today, which is somewhat the pre-requirement of a contract, which are:
1) Offer
2) Agreeing
Before any thing could take place, there must be something called offer, without an offer, how can you agree, its rather silly for a person to look into the sky and say 'I agree' without an offer, even if it does happen, this person will most likely be imagining some scenario, regardless of it, it will still have an offer in it, such as 'Do you agree to love each other through sick and bla bla bla'. Now you get what I mean?
So an offer can be as basic as:
1) Do you want a ride back to xxxx?
2) Can you please don't participate in this tournament?
3) Do you want to buy this handphone for RM500?
Now with the offer(s) proposed, one will have to agree or disagree.
1) Yes I do. / No thank you
2) Ok, I won't participate in the tournament. / I'm sorry, I can't oblige to your request.
3) Of course. / No thanks.
Once the offer has been accepted, we will move on to the next step, but before that, there are a few hidden 'prawns' that needs to be addressed. I will try my best to flip the 'rock(s)' to reveal the 'prawns' in the next post.
Thats it for now.
