Case Law: Insurance - Abu Bakar

ABU BAKAR v. ORIENTAL FIRE & GENERAL INSURANCE CO. LTD. [1974]

The issues here is that the insurance company refuses to pay due to some disclosure issue. They claimed the appellant failed to disclose that there will be four grinding mills at the rear of the shop.

The court ruled out that the four grinding mills does not increase the risks with respect to the property insured, hence the insurers will have to pay.
