Online Blogging (cont)

After some interesting revelation by my lecturer today, it made me even more interested and feel more eager to learn, as he will some how help us understand certain issues that we have on our blogs. Today he mentioned about the copyright issue, well I don't have a good memory, so I will try to extract what ever info that I can recall and add in my understanding and words into it.

They are not using it for any profit gain, but still they have indirectly showing/sharing it with the entire world on the blog.

i) Will the blogger be sued?

ii) If the blogger quote or link back to the original site, will there still be any problem?

iii) How can he avoid all these?

These was the question that I asked in Online Blogging post. Now to simply answer it
i) The possibility is there
ii) It is best to link back and give credit to the original source
iii) Use anything taken/produce by yourself, or just use things available in the form of free-ware. But the easiest way is to seek permission, after all, everyone wants their stuff be viewed by as many people as possible, the only thing that they want is the credit, everyone will get pissed when all their hardwork is being used by others and these people are getting all the credit and not the creater themselves!
